When the old wood deck was removed, the voids were obviously a hazard, that is when Helicon was contacted to remedy the situation. The poly foam was injected underneath the pool deck to fill large voids that could have compromised the integrity of the entire pool deck.
Over 1,200 lbs of poly foam was injected underneath the pool deck during the course of this project. The poly foam was documented to have sufficient uplift resistance capacity and provides the necessary support for the pool deck area. Efficient planning & coordination was key to overcoming the challenges & limitations. All work was completed in a timely manner and the apartment complex owners were able to continue building their attached wood deck immediately thereafter.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][cs_element_section _id=”36″ ][cs_element_row _id=”37″ ][cs_element_column _id=”38″ ][cs_element_image _id=”39″ ][cs_element_image _id=”40″ ][cs_element_gap _id=”41″ ][/cs_element_column][cs_element_column _id=”42″ ][cs_element_image _id=”43″ ][cs_element_image _id=”44″ ][cs_element_gap _id=”45″ ][/cs_element_column][/cs_element_row][/cs_element_section][/cs_content]
