What are Helical Piers?

Helical piers (also known as helical piles or screw anchors) are advanced foundation elements designed to secure structures built on unstable soil. Each pier consists of a steel shaft with helical plates welded near the tip, allowing it to be hydraulically “screwed” deep into the ground.

Once advanced to the proper depth and torque, the piers are attached to the foundation with heavy-duty steel brackets. This process creates a secure connection that transfers the weight of the structure onto stable soil or bedrock, providing immediate load-bearing capacity.

Wow! This company was great. The response time was phenomenal, they knew exactly what they were talking about and looking for you can see they were full of experience. They knew how to deal with neighbors that are getting nosy and trying to get into things but they did it nicely. Great personalities great crew very nice professional and they got back to me after they finished everything to explain everything that was done with photos and video was great highly recommend these guys.

Everything about Helicon's service was top-drawer, from the initial estimate and consultation right up to the grout injection. Everything was explained to me clearly, including different cost options, and they were honest about what I needed and didn't I don't need. The work was finished in less than half a day, which was much faster than I expected, but Ray took me around the house to show me everything they had done. I am highly pleased with this exceptional service and the employees I met, and I would definitely recommend Helicon to anyone in need of foundation repair.
