Soil Stabilization

Unstable soil is one of the leading causes of structural issues in Florida homes and properties. Whether you’re seeing cracks in your foundation, sinking slabs, or voids opening behind seawalls, Helicon’s soil stabilization solutions restore ground strength and protect your investment-without major excavation.

Warning Signs Your Soil May Be Failing

Soil instability often develops gradually-but once it starts, damage can accelerate quickly. Look for these warning signs:

Underpin Foundations

Cracked or Shifting Foundation

Fractures in walls or uneven floors often point to soil movement beneath your home’s foundation.

uneven concrete slab

Sunken or Uneven Concrete Slabs

Driveways, patios, or pool decks that dip, tilt, or crack can signal erosion or voids below the surface.

voids or depressions in the yard

Voids or Depressions in the Yard

Unexpected low spots or soft ground may indicate soil washout or decomposing organic material underground.

cracked or leaning wall

Leaning Seawalls or Retaining Walls

Soil movement behind vertical structures can push walls outward, leading to tilting or collapse.

detached patio or pool deck

Detached Patios or Pool Decks

Separation from the home’s structure is often due to shifting or settling soil beneath the slab.

Underpin Foundations

Persistent Water Pooling

Standing water after rain may be a result of poor soil compaction and drainage-common precursors to erosion.

These guys were great! Miguel was super sweet and informative.
I highly recommend Helicon, the quality of work and most importantly the communication exceeded my expectations.
Bryce and his crew from Helicon were fantastic. Did a walkthrough prior explained the process answered all my questions and updated me during the repair. Did a great job.
I highly recommend Helicon for their outstanding service and integrity! Scheduling was a breeze—they got me an appointment just 3 days after my call and even told me upfront who would be coming. Andrew followed up the next day to confirm and offered an earlier slot (which I unfortunately couldn't take).
I was dealing with a recurring depression in the soil right next to my house, losing 4-5 inches every couple of months. When Andrew arrived, he took the time to discuss the issue, started digging to investigate nearby water sources, and within 10 minutes pinpointed the problem: a leak in my sprinkler system.
Amazingly, there was no charge for the visit or diagnosis. I was blown away by their honesty—it's rare to find a company with this level of integrity these days. Thank you, Andrew and Helicon!
Great experience with Helicon from the initial call to the first rep who visited my home within a couple of days of that call. He (Doug) was very helpful. I felt comfortable with his recommendations compared to another company that I spoke with. When the repair crew came a few days later, they went right to work. Their plan was already set and they worked on the project with knowledge and sincerity that you don’t expect to see too much these days. Many thanks to Rey, the project foreman and his crew. Helicon was well represented by these individuals.
Our community had a hole which would not fill. Helicon came out and was able to detect the issue and best way to fix the issue. They were professional and quick. We have not had the hole reappeared. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.
Had minor settlement cracks in a garage wall. Doug recommended soil injection. Price was fair and the did the job when scheduled. Jan and his crew came out did the job quickly and neatly and cleaned up after themselves. Jan was a pleasure to deal with. Very happy. If you wait too long and you let early signs of settlement get worse you may need more expensive fixes. Act when you first see it and save money in the long term.
the crews were excellent. did s good clean job
My wife and I hired Helicon to eliminate our issues with soil erosion through our sea wall. We were worried that we’d have to spend a fortune on replacing our sea wall as we have almost 300feet. Andrew came out and gave an honest inspection of the sea wall and determined that the sea wall was healthy, but we were indeed losing soil.

Bryce and his crew came out, said it would be a 5 day job and they completed the entirety of the project in 5 days without issue. Very satisfied and we were able to save hundreds of thousands and extend the life and health of our sea wall through Helicon’s product and service.
Helicons team were great! Communications and keeping us posted step by step. We highly recommend them.

How Helicon Stabilizes Your Soil

Our advanced polyurethane injection methods are designed to permanently stabilize Florida’s most problematic soils. Each approach is fast, clean, and tailored to your specific needs.

permeation grout

Permeation Grouting

We inject low-viscosity polyurethane deep into loose soil. As it expands, it binds soil particles into a dense, unified layer-strengthening the ground while preventing future washout.

compaction grouting

Compaction Grouting

In areas with large voids or weak zones, we inject high-expansion foam to displace soft soils and compact the surrounding material. This reinforces support under foundations, slabs, or seawalls.

Where Soil Stabilization Makes a Difference:

Home Foundations

Prevent structural damage and settlement.

Driveways, Patios & Pool Decks

Restore level surfaces and eliminate tripping hazards.

Seawalls & Retaining Walls

Stabilize high-pressure zones to prevent shifting or collapse.

Commercial Projects

Support buildings, roads, or infrastructure with unstable subgrade.
