Structural
Polyurethane Foam
Poly Foam for Concrete & Soil Stabilization
Structural polyurethane foam (sometimes called polyurethane injection, foam lifting, or poly grouting) is a high-performance material injected into voids beneath concrete or within weak soil to lift, level, seal, and strengthen foundations and slabs.
In Florida’s environment, with shifting soils, high moisture, and frequent settlement of concrete surfaces, Helicon’s polyurethane foam system offers a fast, durable, minimally invasive solution with long-lasting results.

What Is Structural Polyurethane Foam?
Structural polyurethane foam is a two-component resin system that expands and cures into a rigid foam. It is injected in liquid form into voids, cracks, or beneath concrete slabs. As it expands, it fills spaces, compacts loose soil, lifts settled concrete, and creates a solid, supportive base. Once cured, it resists water, decay, and movement, giving foundations permanent reinforcement.
How Helicon’s Poly Foam System Works
- Small holes are drilled strategically in the concrete slab, foundation, or structure needing stabilization
- A polyurethane resin/hardener mix is injected under controlled pressure through those ports into voids or weak soil zones
- The foam expands, filling voids, compacting surrounding soil, and applying gentle lifting forces to level settled concrete
- The material cures rapidly (often in minutes), stabilizing the slab/foundation almost immediately
- Drill holes are patched; surface finished so repair is minimally visible

Advantages of Structural Polyurethane Foam with Helicon
Foundation or concrete surface settlement can lead to cracks, uneven floors, and structural risks. Our poly foam solution addresses these issues deeply and efficiently.

Fast & Non-Invasive
Repairs are completed quickly with only small injection holes and minimal disruption — most projects are done in a day.

Permanent & Durable
Once cured, the foam is rigid, water-resistant, and engineered to last for decades without breaking down.

Powerful Lifting & Stabilization
Expanding foam fills voids, compacts weak soil, and can gently lift settled concrete back to its proper level.

Cost-Effective Alternative
Offers a reliable, long-term repair at a fraction of the cost and hassle of full slab or foundation replacement.

Common Structural Polyurethane Foam Applications
Helicon’s poly foam system is highly versatile and effective for a wide range of Florida projects, including:

Structures
Stabilizing residential foundations, commercial slabs, and building supports weakened by settlement or voids.

Seawalls
Filling voids behind seawalls, sealing leaks, and preventing washout caused by tidal or stormwater erosion.

Pool Decks
Raising and leveling settled pool decks while stabilizing soils beneath to prevent cracking and trip hazards.

Manholes & Infrastructure
Sealing leaks and stabilizing soils around manholes, pipes, and underground utilities to prevent further damage.
